The legacy, culture and contributions of many Americans is missing from the official storyline of the founding of America due to their historical dehumanization and erasure. Our Genetic Legacy (OGL) creates projects that expose and publish lost family legacies of these Americans in order to diversify, correct and expand the current history of America to include all Americans.
Our Programs
At Our Genetic Legacy (OGL), our mission is to ensure that America’s history is told in its entirety. For too long, many stories, contributions, and family legacies have been left out of the published record. Our programs focus on uncovering, documenting, and sharing these missing narratives—using tools such as DNA research, drone technology, and digital storytelling—so that the full richness of America’s heritage is preserved and celebrated for future generations.
