Currently, as Policy Advisor for CM Marni von Wilpert. Where I work as lead for the Committee of PS&LN. My work consists of developing policy around the CPP, Park Master Plan, and bringing forward my office’s legislation on an ordinance towards the proliferation of unsterilized firearms “Ghost Guns”. Prior, I was the Director of Protocol, Senior Representative & Homeless Advisor focusing: California Air Pollution and Control District with ship repair industries and its adjacent affected communities. I have established the City of San Diego’s age-friendly action plan and created the City of San Diego to become an official member of the AARP and WHO Global Network of Age-Friendly Communities. United States Department of HHS' Administration for Children and Families Ethnic Community Self Help Program proposal & its partnership with Somali Bantu Association of America, SANDAG’s projects that have helped offer equity to underserved communities. Lastly, working with on homeless solutions.
